Saving must not only come from manufacturers that build devices which emit CO2; helping to avoid emissions is even more efficient. • Offering low-power devices. Our appliance is a “cold” device. Compared to server-based solutions, the power consumption of the appliance is more than ten times more efficient. The fact that is has no moving parts has the nice side effect that there is no need to run the device in a separate server room. This saves a lot of energy for heating in winter and cooling in summer.
