The construction industry deploy remote offices in many locations at different times. With an IP PBX, a new construction site can be up and running with an internal phone system connected across the site on the first day. External calls can temporarily route in and out of the IP PBX phone system via a GSM gateway using Mobile Carrier SIM cards. Upon successful connection to the telco network or Internet the calls can then be switched between the GSM gateway and an IP Gateway.
There are several IP telephone manufacturers that offer robust wireless IP technology handsets with fantastic range that are compatible with pbxnsip IP PBX or by using a standard Dect telephone, construction management are free to roam the entire site and be in contact with the site office.
