No one likes to work in silence and so pbxnsip has the ability to integrate the IP PBX system with your iPod and speaker system. When a call comes in to the IP PBX a SOAP request is sent to the audio/media device that prompts the volume to be muted instantly then initiate ringing so that when the telephone is answered there is no loud music picked up by the speaker on the IP handset. Once the call is terminated the IP PBX will then issue another request to the audio/media device to increase the volume to its original state.
